ABOUT THE TRACK ADDICT

I can honestly say I became a fan and lover of house music by mistake.

I was born and raised in NYC and started djing at the age of 23.

I was 21, hangnin with the boys in Brooklyn on a saturday night when we came across this basement house party. Never forget it, line was half way down the block and the dude at the door ws charging 10.00 a head to get into the basement of some brownstone building.

It was like New years day. Wall to wall people having a good time and best of all no one ...and I mean NO ONE carried an attitude.

The song that got me hooked on house music that night ws The Witch Doctor. The place went beserk when the dj threw that on. I have never seen people go totally bannans for a song like that before.

I started buiding my collection up aftr that and started djing for the Y that i worked at on a monthly basis and a few local gigs here and thier. I was still in school at the time so that took up most of my time.

I've had to sell my equipment due to owing back taxes when I was 26 and have been relying on computer programs to create my mixes.

It's been a while since I've been behnd the decks and my reflexes are probably shot by now but the skills to understand how to blend the music and create the mood I want with it are still there and I make it my goal to create at least a mix a month.

I'm working on going to Scratch DJ Academy in nyc to build on what I know and build myself into the total package of what a Professional Dj should be.

I havent been blessed to have some of the experience some of the other dj's on this site have had but it is my goal to travel as a dj and make it my profession within the next 3 to 4 years.

Until then I will work with what I have , thank God for giving us ALL the gift of music and just keep creating the best mixes I possibly can.

Hope you enjoy them and thanks foro taking the time for getting to know me.

Peace
